Dr. J. Nwando Olayiwola is the inaugural Chief Health Equity Officer and Senior Vice President of Humana, Inc. In this role, she is responsible for setting a health equity agenda and strategy to promote health equity across all Humana lines of business. She has been a national leader in technology-enabled and artificial intelligence empowered primary care and has led widespread implementation of various technologies. She currently also serves as a Board-certified practicing family physician at the Heart of Ohio Community Health Center in Columbus, OH. Dr. Olayiwola is an Adjunct Professor at The Ohio State University College of Public Health & College of Medicine. She was elected into the prestigious National Academy of Medicine in 2021 and has also been named the Woman of the Year by the American Telemedicine Association and Public Health Innovator of the Year by the Harvard School of Public Health.
