The role – As an AI Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting research and experiments to leverage generative AI models and techniques to solve real-world challenges in healthcare.
• Designing and implementing LLM-native pipelines, including fine-tuning existing generative AI models and developing applications based on them.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance our medical file summarization tool, which helps physicians better manage and improve the patient journey for individuals with autoimmune diseases.
• Driving innovation in digital healthcare by applying AI to streamline and optimize the use of medical data.

Job requirements

• 1+ years of hands-on experience developing and deploying LLM-native applications inproduction.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in software development (preferably in Python).
• Proven experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure), Docker, Linux, and NoSQL databases.
• Academic background in exact sciences or engineering.
• Strong problem-solving skills, technical independence, and attention to code quality and efficiency.

Additional Skills that Stand Out

• Experience with RAG and structured generation frameworks (e.g. LangChain, LlamaIndex).
• Familiarity with multi-agent systems.
• 2+ years of experience in data science and machine learning, including model training and deployment on tabular and text data.
• Background or experience in digital health or working with clinical data.

Job requirements

• At least 3 years of Backend development experience
• Deep understanding of JavaScript and Typescript
• Experience with Web technologies, both Backend and Frontend, using NodeJS, React, Redux and other advanced JavaScript libraries
• Experience with Relational (PostgreSQL) and Non Relational (MongoDB) databases
• Experience developing REST APIs and understanding common networking protocols like HTTP, TCP and UDP
• Good understanding of micro-services architecture, design patterns and object oriented design
• Academic degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience
• Strong communication skills
• Solid experience in Python – Advantage
• DevOps knowledge and familiarity with Docker, AWS environment and CI/CD tools – Advantage
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Cypress / Puppeteer and Jest – Advantage
